Canadian singer also performs 'Started From The Bottom' and 'Hold On We're Going Home'
Drake was the guest host on last night’s (January 18) episode of US TV show Saturday Night Live.
The Canadian singer/rapper threw himself into every part of the show, featuring in nearly all the sketches – including impersonating Lil Wayne and Jay-Z. He also performed ‘Started From The Bottom’, with a snippet of ‘Trophies’ – which you can watch below – and he paired a piano ballad version of ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’ with ‘From Time’.

Meanwhile, Drake recently confirmed that he played a role in the transfer of football player Jermain Defoe from Tottenham Hotspur to Toronto FC. Rumours suggested that rapper Drake, who is a friend of Defoe’s and also an ambassador for Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, which owns Toronto FC, was instrumental in the move. Drake has now confirmed the rumour.
“I don’t know if I had an influence on him coming here,” Drake told the Toronto Sun. “I think that all I did was give him the necessary information about a city he didn’t know much about. I told him how great it’s been to me, and how great I assumed it would be to him. We had a great conversation. We built up a personal relationship.”
Drake will tour the UK in March, with The Weeknd providing support on all dates.
Drake will play:
Manchester Phones 4u Arena (March 11/12)
Sheffield Motorpoint Arena (14)
Glasgow The Hydro (15)
Nottingham Capital FM Arena (16)
Birmingham NIA (20/21)
Liverpool Echo Arena (22)
