Drake announces UK arena tour – ticket details

He will play nine shows across the country in Spring 2012

Drake has announced plans for a nine date arena tour of the UK next year.

Taking place in March and April 2012, the Canadian hip hop artist will kick off the run of shows at London O2 Arena on March 26, finishing up at Nottingham Capital FM Arena on April 25. Tickets go on sale Friday December 16 at 9am.

Florence And The Machine recently covered Drake and Rihanna‘s duet ‘Take Care’, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to watch the band perform it. The band performed the track during a set for BBC Radio 1.

The band’s frontwoman Florence Welch also said that she still hoped that she would get to collaborate with Drake in the future, but revealed that their previous studio sessions had come nothing, save for a big drinking session. She said: “We’ve always been in different places and the time that we did end up in the studio together we ended up getting quite drunk together and there wasn’t a song that came out of it”.
