Canadian rapper's latest album is out on Friday (April 29)
Drake has revealed the artwork for new album ‘Views From The 6’.
The rapper’s album is set for release later this week (April 29) and Drake took to the streets of Toronto (AKA “The 6”) to promote his new music.
The hometown event was the latest of Drake’s pop-up shops, the first of which took place in New York last week. While there he shared the artwork for his new album, which shows a close up of the CN Tower in Toronto. Drake, dwarfed by the scale of the building, is perched on the top.
A tracklist for the album is not yet confirmed but at the Toronto pop-up yesterday he told fans there are “like 20 songs for y’all to enjoy” on it. Number One single ‘On Dance’ and Kanye West/ Jay Z collaboration ‘Pop Style’ are both expected to be among the tracks on the record.

‘Views From The 6’ will be available exclusively through Apple Music for one week after its release before becoming available to stream and download everywhere from May 6.
In 2015 Drake signed a reported £13m deal with Apple. Since then he has hosted a monthly OVO Radio show on Apple Music and debuted his ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ mixtape with Future on the platform. ‘Jumpman’ from that album was featured in a recent Apple Music advert starring Taylor Swift.
Earlier this month (April 6), Drake teased his highly-anticipated new album by projecting an image of some artwork for the project onto a building in London.
Drake’s last official album, ‘Nothing Was The Same’, was released in 2013, but he released a pair of mixtapes in 2015: ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ and ‘What A Time To Be Alive’.
