Drenge and Richie Sambora added to Download Festival line-up

Baby Godzilla, The Temperance Movement and more added to bill for Donnington event

Drenge will play Download Festival 2014, it has been confirmed.

The Sheffield duo, who released their self-titled debut studio album last year, lead the latest list of additions to the heavy metal event’s line-up. Richie Sambora and Cytota have also been added to the bill, as have Baby Godzilla, The Temperance Movement, Nothing More, Dead City Streets, and Goldray. For all the latest line-up additions, see Downloadfestival.co.uk.

Speaking about their slot, Drenge frontman Eoin Loveless recently told Gigwise: “I’ve seen Download written in our diary and I really want to do it because I think it will be awesome. Most people at those sort of festivals just sit in the camping area, get in a row and just run in a straight line through tents for as long as possible. I am really looking forward to it.”

The rock festival will be headlined by Aerosmith, Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold. Bring Me The Horizon, Alter Bridge, Rob Zombie, Sikth, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Fall Out Boy will also appear.
