Dua Lipa says her dream collaboration would be with Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker

Dua Lipa has revealed that the identity of her dream collaborative partner: Tame Impala‘s Kevin Parker.

The ‘New Rules’ artist made the admission during an interview prior to her recent performance at the opening ceremony of the UEFA Champions League Final, which saw Real Madrid defeat Liverpool 3-1.

Speaking to Copa90, Lipa was asked which artist (dead or alive) she would choose to make an album with.

“D’you know what, I would love to make an album with Kevin Parker, from Tame Impala,” she said. “I just think what [Tame Impala] do is really cool.”

Earlier this week Dua Lipa was named on the inaugural Vogue 25 list, which showcased the publication’s choice of the most influential women in Britain.

The artist was joined on The Vogue 25 by the likes of The Duchess of Sussex, Black Panther and Black Mirror star Letitia Wright, and JK Rowling.

Dua Lipa also recently shed new light on the direction of her next album, revealing that she’s been inspired recently by listening to the likes of OutKast and Prince.

“It has throwback elements, too,” she told NME about the sound of her upcoming record. “I’ve been listening to a lot of OutKast and Prince and things sonically I’m such a fan of, so I’m just trying to take that and put it together with pop.”
