Warpaint, Moby, Juliette Lewis for Duran Duran covers album

'Making Patterns Rhyme: A Tribute To Duran Duran' is due for release in 2014

Warpaint will contribute a cover of ‘The Chauffeur’ to a forthcoming Duran Duran covers album released in aid of charity next year.

Due for release in February 2014, ‘Making Patterns Rhyme: A Tribute To Duran Duran’ will feature contributions from Little Dragon, Moby, Juliette Lewis and Liars. The full tracklist is due to be revealed at a later date. Organisers Manimal Vinyl say they “intentionally chose album cuts and B-sides rather than the worldwide smash hits that Duran Duran are known for”. Proceeds from the album will be donated to Amnesty International.

Warpaint recently issued a 95-second teaser video for new track ‘Love Is To Die’ and revealed details of a new audio-visual project with director Chris Cunningham. The Los Angeles band previewed 30 seconds of new song ‘Love Is To Die’ as part of a new Calvin Klein advertisement last week. The track featured in their set at End Of The Road festival on August 31.
