Marple group will hit the road in February
Dutch Uncles have announced details of their first full headline tour of the UK.
The Marple group will begin the gig-run in Brighton on February 21 and finish in Glasgow on February 28.
“We’ve done a fair share of support tours recently,” lead singer Duncan Wallis told NME. “So we’ve got some good ideas about what to do and what not do when topping the bill.”
Earlier this week (November 29) the band previewed material from their forthcoming new album at Salford‘s St Philip’s Church, something the band are looking forward to doing on their upcoming tour.
“We’re very excited to start including a lot of our new material in the set,” he explained. “A lot of it has been neglected because of the more ambitious production involved on our new album, but we will be playing it on the new tour.”
Dutch Uncles will play the following:
Brighton Prince Albert (February 21)
Bristol Louisiana (22)
Liverpool Shipping Forecast (23)
Nottingham Bodega (24)
Birmingham Victoria (25)
Leeds Nation Of Shopkeepers (26)
Sunderland 7even (27)
Glasgow King Tut’s (28)
Support on the tour will come from Young British Artists.
