Editors to preview new album on spring UK tour

Plus the band confirm Glastonbury slot

Editors have announced details of a spring tour of the UK and Ireland – and have confirmed to NME.COM they will be playing at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The band, who are set to release their second album this summer, will play five dates in May.

The shows are at:

Warrington Parr Hall (May 22)

London Roundhouse (May 23)

Wolverhampton Civic Hall (24)

Glasgow Barrowland (25)

Dublin Olympia (27)

Tickets go onsale at 9am on Friday (March 23).

Editors frontman Tom Smith has also confirmed the band’s expected Glastonbury slot will be on the Other Stage on Saturday June 23, just below the headliners The Stooges.

The follow-up to 2005’s ‘The Back Room’ is expected in July, and Smith admitted he “couldn’t wait” for fans to hear the record.
