Edwyn Collins has been allowed home following six months in hospital after brain surgery.

The singer fell ill in February and had emergency surgery following two cerebral haemorrhages and another operation in May after catching the MRSA superbug.

In a message posted on his official website [url=]edwyncollins.com, the star said: “How are you doing? I’m fine, thank you. Home again, thank God. I have many new goals to achieve and a lot of work, but we’ll get there in the end.”
