Band also big up Jay-Z during Other Stage set

Elbow were joined by their pal Richard Hawley during their rapturous Other Stage appearance at Glastonbury tonight (June 28).

Guy Garvey led his band through a set at sundown comprising of songs from Elbow‘s recent album, ‘The Seldom Seen Kid’, as well as older classics.

Garvey also commented on the controversy surrounding tonight’s Pyramid Stage headliner Jay-Z, saying: “The Eavis family have thrown the best party for decades, so I think they know what they’re doing.”

He also told the crowd before playing ‘Leaders Of The Free World’: “You’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen.”
