Singer will perform intimate show in the capital on March 21
Ellie Goulding will play a secret show in an intimate London venue later this month, it has been revealed.
The singer, who released her second album ‘Halcyon’ in 2012, will perform on Thursday, March 21 at an intimate London venue with the gig being live-streamed via HP’s YouTube channel.
Speaking in 2012, Goulding revealed that she is keen to make an album with her former boyfriend, dubstep producer Skrillex. Speaking about the possibility of making a full album of material similar to their collaborative track ‘Summit’, she said: “If we start talking about music on the phone, it switches immediately to being professional, and not on purpose, but because we’re both so passionate about music and it’s a very serious thing to us.”
‘Halcyon’ contains a total of 10 tracks, including the singer’s hit single ‘Anything Could Happen’ and ‘Hanging On’, her duet with Tinie Tempah, which was made available as a free download late last year. The album also features the single ‘Figure 8’ and ‘I Need Your Love’, Goulding’s collaboration with Calvin Harris. Ellie Goulding released her debut album ‘Lights’ in 2010, the same year she topped the annual BBC Sound poll.
The gig will be hosted by HP Connected Music and Universal Music Group.
