Danny McNamara of Embrace has revealed that Embrace may disappear for five years after duties with the new album ‘Drawn From Memory’ are completed so that they can make the third album better than as-yet-to-be-released second.

In a video interview with nme.com he said: “I knew straight away after the first album how I wanted to make it better. There was loads of improvements I wanted to make.

“At the end of this album I’ve got no idea how we’re going to make it better. DunnoI don’t think we will y’know. Maybe we should quit now

“It’s gonna be hard we won’t come back until the third album is better than the second – we might be away for 5 years.”

In separate interviews Ooberman talked about their intention to play a ‘punky’ set and Doves revealed how a studio fire which destroyed an entire album of material and their equipment inspired them to start again.
