Eminem to make live return as headliner of 2016’s Lollapalooza South America

Rapper has not performed live since 2014

Eminem has been confirmed as headliner of Lollapalooza South America, marking his return to live action following a year off.

The rapper will perform in Argentina, Brazil and Chile in March 2016 alongside fellow headliners Florence + The Machine. Jack Ü (Skrillex + Diplo), Mumford & Sons, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, Snoop Dogg, Tame Impala and Alabama Shakes also feature on a packed bill.

Lollapalooza’s run through South America begins in Brazil on March 12-13 at Autódromo de Interlagos in São Paulo before moving to Buenos Aires in Argentina on March 18-19. The final weekend takes place in Santiago, Chile on March 19-20.

Both Eminem and Florence + The Machine will make their first ever appearances in Chile and Argentina, and this performance will be only the second time these artists have played in Brazil. Eminem’s last live date came in November 2014 in Washington.

Eminem recently starred alongside Dr Dre and 50 Cent in a feature-length documentary on the Shady Records label.

Eminem released his latest album ‘The Marshall Mathers LP 2’ in 2013.
