Rapper is still set for festival appearances this weekend - despite online claims

Eminem is set to play T In The Park this weekend (July 10) – after organisers moved to quash rumours he was on the verge of pulling out.

The rapper is also set to make a similar headlining appearance at Ireland’s Oxegen festival.

According to reports a bogus website was claiming that Eminem was going to drop out of his live commitments.

“Everything is fine. Eminem is definitely going ahead and highlights from his show will be seen in the TV coverage,” T In The Park organizer Geoff Ellis told The Daily Record.

Ellis added: “With some of the American artists, things take a little longer to sort out because of the time difference. Having Eminem playing his exclusive festival date is perfect for us. T In The Park will be the best yet.”
