EMINEM CITED IN FAN SUICIDE INQUEST

But the coroner says that he does not know how much Kayleigh Davies had been influenced by the rapper...

A 13-year-old girl “infatuated” with EMINEM hanged herself in her bedroom after been sent home from school for drinking alcohol, an inquest has heard.

However, while recording a verdict of suicide in Winchester today (March 7), Central Hampshire Coroner Grahame Short went some way towards freeing the rapper of any blame for the death saying he did not know how much she had been influenced by Eminem.

According to [url=]www.ananova.com, Kayleigh Davies was found by her father Martin (who had described his daughter as “infatuated” by Eminem), on December 20 last year. She was hanging from a belt attached to a cupboard in her room.

An overcome Mr Davies broke down and cried as he described the moment he realised something was seriously wrong.

“When I got home I went to put the shopping away and shouted up the stairs ‘Kayleigh, Kayleigh’ really quite loud and there was no answer,” he told the court.

He described how, after kicking through her door, he struggled to save his daughter. Despite grabbing her legs to relieve the pressure and then unbuckling the belt she had used, he could not save her. Kayleigh was pronounced dead when the emergency services arrived.

It is the second time in recent weeks that Eminem has been cited in the inquest into a teenager on the south coast of England.

His lyrics were criticised by the coroner recording the suicide of 17-year-old David Harcombe in January. Last September, Harcombe committed suicide by jumping in front of a train. He quoted lyrics to ‘Rock Bottom’, from Eminem’s debut album, in a suicide note.
