Luke Steele is in flamboyant mood for the band's set
Empire Of The Sun frontman Luke Steele performed wearing an full Indian headdress at the band’s T In The Park gig tonight (July 11).
Steele played alongside a troupe of dancers throughout the gig, with several outlandish costume changes the order of the day. Backed by a two-piece live band, he played a selection of tracks from the band’s self-titled album, with a video screen showing psychedelic visuals at the back of the stage.
The frontman, not joined by sometime Empire And The Sun bandmate Nick Littlemore for the set, said he little during the gig which ended with single ‘Walking On A Dream’. However, he did add to the theatricalities of the performance by strutting around the stage playing solos from a triangular white guitar when not at his keyboard.
