Enter Shikari announce April 2013 UK tour

Band set to play 24 dates on the stretch before Download festival appearance

Enter Shikari have announced a 24-date tour for April and May 2013.

The band, who released their third studio album in January 2012, will play at venues in towns that they have either not played for a long time, never played before, or that rarely get gigs on their doorstep. Support on the tour will come from Hacktivist.

A statement from the band reads: “We speak to a lot of people who come to the big shows and we’re very aware that a large number of them travel distances to come and see us.”

He added: “Not everyone lives in a major city, so we figured it was time we went out and tried to visit some people a little closer to home. It’s going to be awesome to be in small rooms and up-close-and-personal with crowds again, plus visiting some new places along the way.”
