Enter Shikari to tour the UK this December – ticket details

The band will be playing a string of 'double shows' on their Christmas tour

Enter Shikari are set to tour the UK this December.

The band will kick off the A Flash Flood of Christmas tour on December 6 at Manchester’s Ritz venue, playing another show at the same venue the following day.

They will then head to Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and London, before finishing up the 11 date tour with two shows at Norwich’s UEA on December 19 and 20.

Support on all dates will come from Cancer Bats and Engine-Earz Experiment. Tickets go on sale at 9am (BST) on August 31.

Of the tour, Rou Reynolds of the band has said they’re playing a lot of double nights at the same venues so fans can see them up close and personal. He explained: “When you factor in the basic facts of charging fans higher ticket prices so they can watch you from further away from the stage, and be charged £6 a pint into the bargain, it starts to feel like quite a cost just to be able to limply say ‘we played Wembley’, so we made the choice of actually going smaller for this tour and doing double nights instead.”

He added that the band will also be hosting DJ after-parties in local venues on some nights. “Maybe we’ll throw a couple of after-shows in in some places too, as me and Rob love an opportunity for some post-show DJ action when we don’t have to travel afterwards,” he said.
