MASSIVE MAN’S GOTTA HAVE FAITH

Mike Patton and 3-D reckon their group could be "a really good cross-pollination of ideas"...

FAITH NO MORE vocalist MIKE PATTON and MASSIVE ATTACK‘s ROBERT ‘3-D’ DEL NAJA are looking to form a new band.

Speaking in an interview on the official Massive Attack website, [url=]www.massiveattack.co.uk , Del Naja said that the pair have been having e-mail communication in recent weeks with a view to forming the band, which he claims could be “a really good cross-pollination of ideas”.

He said: “I’ve been having ongoing e-mail conversations with Mike Patton about creating a band. We keep talking about sending each other tracks and setting up something abstract. It could turn out to be a good cross-pollination of ideas; we’ll see how that one goes!”

Faith No More split in 1998, following months of speculation. The band had just completed a tour for their ‘Album Of The Year’ record, released the year before. Patton went on to form a new band, Phantomas.
