KASABIAN UNVAIL NEW SONG AT GLASTONBURY

The band use Other Stage to introduce some stunts…

KASABIAN have played new material during their OTHER STAGE appearance tonight (June 25).

The band debuted new track ’The Stunt Man’ in a set, that despite strong competition elsewhere on site from the likes of New Order drew big crowds.

”We’ve got a new song called ’The Stunt Man’ we threw in,” singer Tom Meighan told NME.COM, “we’re just buzzing now.”

The band played an energetic set including ’Test Transmission’, ’LSF’ and stomping closer ’Club Foot’ which left most of the audience holding their hands aloft.

”We were the first band on at the whole festival last year,” said co-frontman Serge Pizzorno. “So it was nice to go from being first on the bill last year, to a big slot this year.”

The band added that they were now keen to get out and explore the festival site, but couldn’t stay in Glastonbury for too long.

“We’re playing a festival in France, so we’ll be here for a few hours then getting out of here,” he explained. “There’s no rest for the wicked.”
