It's Friday morning, but already some of the biggest bands on the bill are here...
Music fans at this year’s GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL have woken up to bright sunshine, with the first bands starting to arrive onsite.
Although the music doesn’t start until today, some bands and tens of thousands of fans arrived on Thursday, to soak up the atmosphere and watch the Euro 2004 match between England and Portugal.
Bands set to play today include Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol and Elbow, who are all are already here.
Elbow singer Guy Garvey, who was hanging out with Radio 1’s Edith Bowman, told NME.COM he was “excited but nervous” about playing on the Pyramid Stage today, on a bill that also includes PJ Harvey, Kings Of Leon and fellow Mancunians Oasis.
Elbow will also record their new single ‘Grace Under Pressure’ at the festival, which will be turned around and released as a single in July.
NME.COM will be updating all weekend with all the latest news, reviews, pictures and gossip. If you can’t be at the festival you won’t miss a thing.
