THE CARLING WEEKEND: LEEDS FESTIVAL is to make more tickets available, after having its capacity increased.
The sold out event has was granted permission by Leeds City Council’s licensing committee today (June 21) to sell extra day tickets for this year’s event.
There are now 2,500 more tickets for the Friday, and 5,000 day tickets for both Saturday and Sunday.
Mean Fiddler MD Melvin Benn said of the decision: “We are delighted that more music fans over the country can enjoy The Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals. It is fantastic news for the fans and now an additional 12,500 people in Leeds and the north of England.”
As previously reported on NME.COM The Carling Weekend: Reading Festival has had its capacity increased, with the addition of 11,000 across the event.
The extra tickets for the Leeds leg of the bash are on sale.
