You won't even have had time to unpack your wellies...
Tickets for T IN THE PARK 2005 festival are to go on sale just hours after this year’s event finished with a dramatic performance from headliners THE STROKES.
Tickets for next year will go on sale tomorrow (July 13) at midday for just one month until August 13.
T In The Park 2005 will take place at Balado, Kinross between July 9-10.
Event promoter Geoff Ellis said: “Although there are 365 days to go, we know that demand for next year’s event is already growing, particularly since so many thousands of people were left disappointed this year, despite our advice to buy early.”
He added: “It’s testament to T in the Park’s great reputation that we can now put the event on sale without unveiling the line up – it’s become one of the highlights of the summer and music fans don’t want to miss out.”
For this year’s event, tickets also were released earlier than usual – in December 2003 – months before the usual spring announcement. The festival, which happened last weekend (July 10-11) and featured performances from Pixies, Libertines and [a][/a], sold out ten weeks in advance – the fastest time in its 11-year history.
Tickets will be available by telephone and Internet only and will be priced at £42.50 for a day ticket, £75 for a weekend pass and £88 for a weekend plus camping.
