PIXIES wowed Scottish fans with their first gig in the country for 13 years at T IN THE PARK tonight (July 11).

The cult American band’s last Scottish show, at Glasgow SECC in 1991, had been cut short after just three songs when a stage barrier collapsed.

Tonight the recently reformed cult rockers made up for that evening by sending the huge crowd in Balado, near Kinross wild with a string of classics during their set, including ’Debaser’, ’Monkey Gone To Heaven’, ’Where Is My Mind?’ and ’Gigantic’.

The set was as follows:

’Planet Of Sound’

’Bone Machine’

’Broken Face’

’Something Against You’

’Isla De Encanta’

’Monkey Gone To Heaven’

’U-Mass’

’Velouria’

’No. 13 Baby’

’I Bleed’

’Dead’

’Wave Of Mutilation’

’Debaser’

’Gouge Away’

’Tame’

’Hey’

’Gigantic’

’Caribou’’

’In Heaven’/’Where Is My Mind?’

’Nimrod’s Son’

’Here Comes Your Man’

’Vamos’
