TEENAGER FOUND DEAD AT LEEDS SITE

A teenager from Derbyshire has been found dead at Temple Newsam Park in Leeds at the Leeds Carling Weekend.

The 19-year-old man, who has not been named, was found in his tent by friends at 10.45am. When they were unable to wake him they alerted security and medics. After an examination he was pronounced dead at 11am.

A cause of death has not been established, although friends of the man say he suffered from a heart condition. He had been drinking the night before.

A spokesperson commented: “We are unable to say anything further until the coroner reports back.”

At this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances. The man’s family have been informed.
