TINE’ DREAM!

Pete's not there, but there's plenty of support...

BLACK REBEL MOTORCYCLE CLUB and HAR MAR SUPERSTAR turned up to see THE LIBERTINES’ appearance at CARLING WEEKEND: READING this afternoon (August 23).

The band, who were playing with guitarist Anthony Rossomando instead of estranged founder member Pete Doherty played a mid-afternoon set. Pete will play his own gigs with new band Baby Shambles this weekend

From the stage Carl Barat made no reference to the group’s current troubles, instead focusing on a set that included the highlights from ‘Up The Bracket’, and current single ‘Don’t Look Back Into The Sun’, which will be their biggest hit to date when it charts tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s gig at the Leeds Festival will be the band’s last while they start work on their second album.
