The band's new single 'Let's Dance' is out the same day as Bextor's 'Take Me Home' - but the boys are "very confident"...
FIVE have dismissed SOPHIE ELLIS-BEXTOR‘s threat to their Number One aspirations for forthcoming single ‘LET’S DANCE’, with the band’s J BROWN saying they’re not even slightly worried about her single ‘TAKE ME HOME’ beating them to the top – even though they’re released on the same day.
Speaking exclusively to NME.COM., J said: “We’re confident. I thought ‘cos of the last one (‘Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love)’), which was a very strong pop song, it might be a problem, as everyone was saying it was as good. “But I heard it, and it’s not what I thought it was going to be. It’s just not as strong as the last one at all.”
Both singles are released on August 13.
