Adele, Florence And The Machine’s Florence Welch and Taio Cruz are all new entrants on the Sunday Times Rich List.

As part of its annual survey of the richest people from the UK, the newspaper publishes a separate list of young musicians, titled “Top 20 Young Music Millionaires (aged 30 and under).”

Adele has entered the list at Number Nine, with an estimated fortune of £6 million, while Florence Welch is worth £5 million, making her joint 14th, along with James Morrison, Taio Cruz and all the members of Girls Aloud except Cheryl Cole.

Katherine Jenkins remains top of the list with £13 million, just ahead of Cheryl Cole and Leona Lewis, who are both estimated to be worth £12 million.

X Factor mogul Simon Cowell and Paul McCartney have also enjoyed bumper years. Cowell made £35 million in 2010, moving him above Elton John in main list “Top 50 Music Millionaires”.

McCartney made £20 million to move his overall wealth to £495 million, making him Number Four in the list. Zomba Records founder Clive Calder remains top of the pile, with a personal fortune estimated at £1.3 billion.

Elsewhere Noel and Liam Gallagher are 37th, having made £8 million in the past year. This has seen them move above Engelbert Humperdinck and Mark Knopfler.
