Jamie xx and Blood Orange to support at the July 2016 gig
Tickets for the gig go on general sale at 9am on Friday (December 4).
Mumford And Sons will be joined on the July 8 bill by Wolf Alice and Alabama Shakes, with Take That playing the London festival on July 9.
Recent Hyde Park gigs include outings from the likes of Taylor Swift, The Who, The Rolling Stones, The Libertines, Blur, The Strokes and more.
Speaking about Mumford And Sons’ Hyde Park, guitar and banjo Winston Marshall told NME there was a “high chance” that the band would have new material to play at the Hyde Park show.
“We want to play, like, everywhere and it does feel quite fresh for us to play it,” said Marshall. “I guess other places that we really want to play eventually would be Finsbury Park, that would be fucking wicked.” He then hinted at plans for the band’s fourth album. “I think now we’re at this point where the old songs and the new songs are fucking great together and now we’re looking to write new songs and write new records,” he said.
