Foals added to Manchester International Festival

The Noisettes also play

Foals have been added to the line-up of the forthcoming Manchester International Festival.

The band play as part of the Unknown Pleasures new music series.

The event will also see performances from The Noisettes and The Wombats.

Festival organisers are also seeking unsigned bands, who are all over 18 years of age, to support the headline acts playing the festival.

The festival is due to take place from June 28-July 15. As previously reported Kanye West, Lou Reed,Smokey Robinson and Happy Mondays will all play various venues around Manchester as part of the bash.

Damon Albarn is set to open the event with his opera ’Monkey: Journey To The West’.
