Foo Fighters’ Nate Mendel’s new band Lieutenant to release LP in March

The former Sunny Day Real Estate member has debuted the song 'Believe The Squalor'

Foo Fighters bass player Nate Mendel will release an album with his new project Lieutenant on March 10.

Mendel, who was formerly a member of Sunny Day Real Estate, will head up the release of ‘If I Kill This Thing We’re All Going To Eat For A Week’, which will feature the song ‘Believe The Squalor’, which you can listen to at Stereogum.

The album features apperances from Joe Plumber (Modest Mouse), Josiah Johnson (The Head And The Heart), Chris Shiflett (Foo Fighters), and Jeremy Enigk (Sunny Day Real Estate), while the live group includes producer Toshi Kasai, Jorma Vik (The Bronx, Mariachi El Bronx), Paul ‘Pablo’ Wilson (Snow Patrol) and Christian Wargo (Fleet Foxes).
