Short clip from US band's eighth album was uploaded by Twitter employee
Foo Fighters have unveiled the latest clip from their new album ‘Sonic Highways’.
The short video comes via Bob Moczydlowsky, the head of music at Twitter, and was shared on the Foo Fighters official Twitter page. The Vine clip shows a test pressing of the US band’s new album playing on a turntable.
The album will be released on November 10 and is the band’s eighth studio effort. The vinyl release of ‘Sonic Highways’ will come with an assortment of nine different covers including eight themed around one of the cities in which the album was recorded: Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville, New Orleans, New York, Seattle and Washington, DC.

Meanwhile, Foo Fighters are to return to the UK stage at the closing concert for the Invictus Games in September. The event takes place at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on September 14, and sees Dave Grohl and co top a line-up that also includes Kaiser Chiefs, Ellie Goulding, Ryan Adams, The Vamps, Rizzle Kicks, James Blunt, Diversity and Military Wives Choirs. The 26,000-capacity outdoor concert will take place on the south lawn of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 5pm to 10pm and highlights will be broadcast by the BBC.
