Hurts, The Vaccines and Chase And Status also set to play

Foo Fighters, Pulp and Iggy And The Stooges are among those set to play the Isle Of Wight Festival today (June 11).

The event kicked off yesterday and wraps up tomorrow at the Isle‘s Seaclose Park in the town of Newport. Foo Fighters close the show tonight, playing songs from their new studio album ‘Wasting Light’ for the first time in front of a UK festival crowd. Pulp [pictured right] precede them, playing their first UK show since they reformed late last year after a lengthy hiatus.

There will also be sets during the day on the event’s Main Stage from Hurts, Stornoway and Iggy And The Stooges. The festival’s Big Top Stage also has a packed schedule, with Wild Beasts, The Vaccines, Chase and Status and The Cult all due to play before legendary crooner Tom Jones closes the tent.
