“killer” new album was recorded in just three weeks, according to DAVE GROHL.

The band have now completed work on their new record, ‘One By One’, which will be released on October 22.

In a letter to fans on the band’s official website, www.foofighters.com, Grohl said the group re-recorded all the songs in under a month to give he album a live feel.

He said: “I can’t fucking wait for this album to come out. 11 songs. The best we’ve ever written. All recorded (re-recorded) in the course of 3 weeks. The way we should have done it in the first place. Quick and to the point(less). We wrote these songs specifically for live performance. Whatever would get us off live. That’s what we would put on tape.”

The first single to be released will be ‘All My Life’, which will precede the release of the band’s fourth album. The group headline the Carling Weekend festivals in Reading and Leeds over the August Bank holiday weekend (August 23-25).
