Band to put out first album ahead of festival appearances

Foster The People have announced details of their debut album ‘Torches’.

The Los Angeles trio will release the album on June 27, with a single ‘Pumped Up Kicks’ preceding it by a week on June 20.

The band play two shows at the Great Escape this week as well as a headline show at London King’s College Students Union next Tuesday (May 17).

Foster The People are also booked to play slots at Glastonbury, Latitude Festival, Lovebox and Bestival.
