Foxy Brown pleads not guilty

Singer faces court date after beauty store fracas

Foxy Brown has pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanour charges stemming from an alleged scuffle at a beauty supply shop in Florida.

Judge Joel Lazarus had issued an arrest warrant for Brown after she failed to show up for a scheduled court date.

Lazarus withdrew the arrest warrant on Wednesday (March 28). This followed defence lawyers explaining the arraignnment notice telling Brown about the date was sent to the wrong address.

The judge set a June trial date.

As previously reported, the rapper escaped a jail sentence earlier this month after she pleaded guilty to the charge of violating probation after leaving the state of New York without permission.

Outside the courthouse Brown said: “I am going to stand up and fight and take care of this,” reports Yahoo News.
