Foxy Brown gets ‘excellent’ probation report

This time she leaves court smiling

Rapper Foxy Brown left a court appearance a happy woman on Wednesday (January 17), following an “excellent report from probation”.

As previously reported here, Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, received a rap on the knuckles from Judge Melissa Jackson last month, when she was accused of “flouting the court-ordered conditions of her probation” by her probation officer.

Brown originally appeared in court following claims that she assaulted employees at a Bloomies nail salon in New York, in a dispute over payment for a manicure. She was instructed to attend anger management classes and given three years probation.

According to the Associated Press, Brown said “probation forces you into structure. It is making me grow up. I have matured a lot since I started the anger management.”

Brown is due to appear in court again on March 15.
