Frank Ocean has premiered a new, nearly 10 minute long song called ‘Pyramids’ online.
Scroll down to listen to the epic track, which is the first to be taken from the Odd Future cohort’s commercial debut album, ‘Channel Orange’, which is set for release on July 16 (July 17 in the US). The singer is trailing the album release with a short video, which you can watch below.
Earlier this year Frank Ocean ditched plans to officially release ‘Nostalgia, Ultra’, the acclaimed mixtape he self-released last year. Instead of re-releasing the mixtape, Ocean pledged to focus his time on his commercial debut album.
Ocean has also claimed that The Eagles‘ Don Henley was threatening to sue him for his track ‘American Wedding’, a reinterpretation of The Eagles classic ‘Hotel California’, which appeared on the ‘Nostalgia, Ultra’ tape.
Frank Ocean will appear at Bestival this September and also supports Coldplay on their stadium tour alongside Marina And The Diamonds on the ‘Mylo Xyloto’ band’s August and September dates, starting in Copenhagen on August 28 and finishing up in Hanover on September 22.
