Watch Frank Ocean race cars with A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator instead of finishing his album

R&B singer also sighted in an Apple store with Kendall Jenner as fans wait on 'Boys Don't Cry'

Frank Ocean has been filmed racing cars through the streets of Los Angeles with Tyler, The Creator and A$AP Rocky.

Fans have been awaited the R&B performer’s new album ‘Boys Don’t Cry’ for some time. It was initially due to be released in July 2015 and then July of this year. The last due date to be touted was August 5, but again the record failed to materialise.

Ocean can now been seen in a Snapchat video recently posted by A$AP Rocky, later uploaded onto Twitter by fans (see beneath). The clip shows Ocean beating Rocky and Tyler in a drag race.

Meanwhile, Ocean has also been spotted in an Apple store with model Kendall Jenner and Odd Future member Taco, according to fans. See photos of that sighting below.

Frank Ocean’s producer Malay recently responded to fan frustration over the delay of the R&B performer’s much anticipated new album.

Malay – real name James Ho – worked closely with Ocean on the singer’s hugely acclaimed 2012 debut ‘Channel Orange’, co-producing nine of its 17 tracks. He has also been working with Ocean on his second LP ‘Boys Don’t Cry’.

Responding to a fan’s question in a Reddit AMA, Malay said: “First of all we all massively appreciate and love you guys, Frank has told me this himself many times.”

“To be fair [though], art cannot be rushed,” he added. “It’s about making sure the perfect aesthetic for the situation has been reached, to do that, takes constant tweaking, trial and error… That goes for any creative [situation]”.

Quizzed over whether Ocean’s album was ever likely to be released on August 5, Malay replied: “Never heard of an actual date… Then again I don’t pay attention to a lot of stuff”.

He also described Ocean’s work ethic as “very focused and persistent… Yet very free”.
