Singer is due in the UK next month for a pair of London gigs and a set at Wireless Festival

Frank Ocean has unveiled several new songs during a gig in Germany.

The singer debuted the songs, whose titles are currently unknown, while performing at BMW Welt in Munich last night (June 25) and fan footage of three new tracks has already been uploaded to YouTube. Scroll down and press ‘play’ to watch them.

Ocean released his critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Channel Orange’ last July (2012). He revealed this February (2012) that he’d started working on a follow-up. “It’s another cohesive thing bordering on a concept album again. At the end of ‘Channel Orange’ there’s ‘Golden Girl’ and I kind of want to extend that feeling into the next record,” he explained at the time.

He also revealed he’d been collaborating with Pharrell Williams, Tyler, The Creator and producer Danger Mouse and was hoping to team up in the studio with King Krule.

Meanwhile, Ocean revealed some potential influences on the album this April (2013). “This time it’s a lot of Beach Boys and Beatles and whatnot, so we’ll see how it trickles into the music and the final product. I can’t say much other than that,” he said.

Ocean will be back in the UK next month (July) for a pair of headline shows at London’s Brixton Academy on July 9 and 10. They’re his biggest European gigs to date and his first London shows since he performed at east London venue XOYO in 2011. Following the Brixton shows, he’ll perform at the Wireless Festival in London alongside headliner Justin Timberlake. The festival takes place between July 12-14 at London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
