Sailor Jerry's Ink City will also play host to live tattooing
With the Isle Of Wight event approaching this weekend, the final stage, Sailor Jerry’s Ink City, has announced its line-up.
The intimate stage is set within a 1940s style tattoo parlour, where festival-goers will be able to treat themselves to new body art while watching the bands. It was inspired by Norman ‘Sailor Jerry’ Collins, the ‘godfather’ of American tattooing, who was the inspiration for the brand of spiced rum which bears his name.
The King Blues and Turner headlines the stage on Friday (September 9), while Yuck follow-up a Main Stage performance with the more intimate show the following day. Other acts set for Ink City include The King Blues, Bright Light Bright Light, Wolf Gang and Tribes.
