Tickets for 2009’s Shockwaves NME Awards shows, including the likes of Franz Ferdinand, The Wombats, Mystery Jets, Tricky and Black Lips, are on sale now.

With the likes of Gaslight Anthem, Secret Machines, Metronomy and Simian Mobile Disco also headlining shows, now is your chance to bag tickets for the first wave of London shows that take place in January and February.

The gigs take place in the run-up to the Shockwaves NME Awards 2009, set to take place at the UK capital’s Brixton Academy on February 25.
