French Kicks have signed a new record deal and release their second album in May.
The band, whose debut LP ‘Young Lawyers’ was released in 2001 on Poptones, issue the first fruits of their new deal with Cooking Vinyl shortly – the album, ‘One Time Bells’, is out on May 5. It’s preceded by a single, ‘Close To Modern’, on April 21.
The New York (via Washington DC) quartet have just expanded to include new drummer Hugh McIntosh, freeing up Nick Stumpf to concentrate on vocal duties.
The new line-up made its’ debut last week across the US on ‘Last Call With Carson Daly’, and began week US tour with Idlewild earlier this week. UK shows are planned for May.
