The band give fans a treat at London's Alexandra Palace...
FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND road-tested their new album for the first time last night (May 2) on their biggest headline show to date.
The band headlined the new Give It A Name hardcore all-dayer at London’s Alexandra Palace, in front of 8,000 fans.
Alongside new single ‘Streetcar’, they played new tracks ‘Roses For The Dead’, ‘All The Rage’ and ‘End Of Nothing’, which all feature on their forthcoming second album ‘Hours’.
Singer Matt Davies said of the new record: “It’s a lot more progressive, a lot more natural sounding and a lot more like we sound live. I’m really proud that that element of the band has shone through on this record; because I didn’t think the last record really represented the way we set fire to the stage!”
Completing the line-up were Me Without You, The Lucky Nine, Alexisonfire, Rise Against, Coheed And Cambria, and Finch.
Funeral For A Friend played:
‘Escape Artists Never Die’
‘This Year’s Most Open Heartbreak’
‘Roses For The Dead’
‘Bend Your Arms To Look Like Wings’
‘All The Rage’
‘Red Is The New Black’
‘Rookie Of The Year’
‘The Art Of American Football’
‘End Of Nothing’
‘She Drove Me To Daytime Television’
