Gallows cancel two shows after Frank Carter is diagnosed with throat infection

Band currently still set to play Guilfest on Sunday though (July 17)

Gallows have cancelled two shows they were due to play this weekend in Norway after Frank Carter contracted a throat infection.

The band, who are on their last run of dates before Carter leaves the band to pursue his new project Pure Love, have said that they are still currently set to play this weekend’s Guilfest festival in Surrey on Sunday (July 17).

Gallows issued a statement on their official Facebook page, which reads: “It is with great regret that due to illness Gallows have had to pull out of two appearances in Norway this weekend. The band will no longer be playing Sjottsfell Festival and Bukta Festival.”

Frank became ill yesterday and after seeking doctors’ advice has been told not to play. The band are completely gutted about this as they love Norway and have been looking forward to these shows. As it stands Gallows will still play Guilfest on Sunday.

It was revealed earlier this week that Carter, who announced he was quitting Gallows last Friday (July 8), told his bandmates he would leaving the band over email, as he was not able to contact them by phone.

Gallows play their last UK show with Carter as their frontman on July 23 at London‘s ULU.
