Gene Simmons is being sued for sexual assault

The woman claims the singer acted inappropriately and then touched her butt.

Gene Simmons is being sued for sexual assault, after a woman claimed he acted inappropriately towards her during an interview.

TMZ reports that the woman – filing under the moniker Jane Doe – says she interviewed the Kiss bassist in November at an opening of a Rock & Brews restaurant in San Bernardino, California.

According to the documents obtained by TMZ, the woman claims that during the interview, Simmons reached over and forcibly placed her hand on his knee, which made her feel uncomfortable.

The singer grabbed her hand again, commenting on how soft they were, saying she must use lotion, before flicking her throat.

The accuser says she then tried to put a stop to the interview, but Simmons kept going, before touching her butt during a group photo.

Gene Simmons is yet to comment on the accusations.

Last month, he was reportedly banned for life from Fox News, after exposing his belly and attacking staff with a copy of his new book.

He was appearing on the network’s ‘Fox & Friends’ show to promote his new book, ‘On Power’. Simmons reportedly left the set and barged into a staff meeting, before shouting “Hey ladies, sue me!” and lifting his shirt up.

While on the show, he gave his thoughts on Harvey Weinstein, saying: “Okay, I’m a powerful and attractive man, and what I’m about to say is deadly serious. Men are jackasses. From the time we’re young we have testosterone. I’m not validating it or defending it.”

Meanwhile, Simmons lead the tributes to the late Hugh Hefner when he died back in September, aged 91.

The Kiss member tweeted an old picture of Hefner before he wrote: ”A great man, entrepreneur and innovator. Your legacy lives on. #Hef.”
