A special treat for fans of the ex-Beatle on the single's cover...
The late GEORGE HARRISON’s most famous solo song ‘MY SWEET LORD’ will carry a previously unseen photograph taken by the star as cover art when it is re-released on January 14.
The forthcoming release follows pressure from fans who had clamoured for it’s appearance in honour of the Beatles guitarist following his death from cancer on November 29. ‘My Sweet Lord’ hit the top of the UK chart and stayed there for five weeks on its original release in January 1971.
Profits from sales of the single will go Harrison’s charity ‘The Material Charitable Foundation’, which supports other charities worldwide, particularly those helping children and the poor.
