George Michael charged over drug-drive incident

Charges relate to an incident in London in July

George Michael has been charged with driving while unfit through drink or drugs and possession of cannabis, Scotland Yard confirmed today (August 12).

The singer, who was arrested after allegedly crashing his Range Rover into a branch of Snappy Snaps in Hampstead, north London on July 4, is now due to appear before magistrates on August 24, reports BBC News.

Michael, 47, was charged after reporting to a police station in Camden, London today.
