Giorgio Moroder and Britney Spears’ ‘Tom’s Diner’ cover leaks

Moroder's first album in 30 years is released on June 17

Giorgio Moroder‘s cover of Suzanne Vega’s ‘Tom’s Diner’, which features vocals from Britney Spears, has leaked.

Listen to the track at Spin. It will feature on synth legend and Daft Punk collaborator Moroder’s new album ‘Déjà Vu’, his first album for 30 years.

In a statement recently posted on his Facebook, Moroder wrote: “So excited to release my first album in 30 years, it took quite sometime. Who would have known adding the ‘click’ to the 24 track would spawn a musical revolution and inspire generations. As I sit back readily approaching my 75th birthday, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I’m incredibly happy that I got to work with so many great and talented artists on this new record. This is dance music, it’s disco, it’s electronic, it’s here to you. Once you listen… you’ll feel it… déjà vu.”

The album is released on June 17 and features various vocalists including Charli XCX, Kylie Minogue, Kelis and Sia. See the full tracklist below.
