Co-organiser says this year is a 'big finale'

Emily Eavis has said that she and her father Michael have tried to pack as much as possible in the Glastonbury line-up for this year as there is no event in 2012.

The festival’s full line-up was unveiled by organisers yesterday (April 14) and Eavis said she hoped they’d secured a line-up that would represent this year and next.

Speaking to BBC 6 Music, she said: “Subconsciously, you think about the fact there isn’t going to be a festival next year, so you try to get as much in as possible that will represent both years.”

She added: “It’s like a big finale. By the time we come back, there’ll be a lot of music around. This is like the big sing-off.”
